have just recently traded for this 2021 Hawthorn rb-7 top tension banjo and although it is a SUPER nice playing,looking and sounding banjo it is just not what i'm looking for....this has the Huber engineered rim with Huber Hr-30 ring...this is the unplated/vintage brass finish and unplated ring..also has the unplated brass Rickard Cyclone 10/1 ratio tuners and unplated Rickard tailpiece...this has a radiused fingerboard and flat internal back on the resonator....this thing is killer but as i said i'm looking for certain banjos...Hawthorn top tensions start at $5750.00 depending on the components....will sell for $3650.00 or i would consider the following banjos.....first run Goldstar J.D. Crowe.....Great lakes top tension.....Gibson blackjack..style 6 checkboard or sparkle....Granada or even the right rb-3 or rb-250....Huber VRB-G,Yates 558,9584,Carnegie,Lil banger...or ??...sorry but the strap or stand are not included...thanks
