1935 Gibson TB3 40-hole archtop conversion to 5-string. Conversion neck is a new mahogany Frank Neat neck, Brazilian rosewood, spikes at 7 and 9. The inlay is Bella Voce on the headstock with leaves and bows on the fingerboard, true to the original tenor neck. Original Grover pancake tuners from tenor neck. Like new, no fret wear.
The pot is in very good to excellent condition overall. The finish on the resonator has some weather checking with some scratches, etc as you might expect. The banjo has a prewar chrome armrest when it was acquired. Hard to say if it is original to the banjo or not and appears to be original plating. The banjo is shown with an original 5-string prewar Presto which is not included. A Prucha tailpiece marked Gibson will be substituted. Original tenor neck is included
The case is a new Superior case.
$9,950 plus shipping/insurance depending on location shipped to. No trades. Willing to sell as a tenor with its original tuners, make an offer.
