There's just something about walnut and chrome and especially a Gibson Prewar. This Style 4 F.O.N. 9554-32 was originally a tenor and now has a Curtis McPeake chrome plated tone ring and a new walnut neck from Steve Huber. The prewar hardware is in fantastic condition with prewar 2-band tuners as well. After 92 years this banjo shows very nice wear and patina. At some point the resonator has a side-wall crack repaired and with no issue. These Style 4's are a bit rare and make for a tremendous banjo. If you have any questions or desire additional pictures, don't hesitate to ask. Here's a clip of this banjo from YouTube: youtube.com/watch?v=_fkV_YpkdwU
