This is a Pre Owned Morgan Monroe 5 string Banjo that is all original with an original case. This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description
This has a thick multiply maple shell with a curly maple resonator and maple neck. The fretboard is rosewood with nice fretboard inlay and there is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator. The hardware is nickel and all original including a one piece flange and 20 hole tone ring. The tailpiece is a clamshell and the armrest is engraved. This banjo is definitely attractive and is a professional quality design. This also includes the original hardshell case.
Condition
This is in great shape and has been professionally cleaned at the Banjo Warehouse. There is a circular finish crack over the binding right by the 5th string tuner. That is a finish crack but it is still worth mentioning. Other then that the banjo is nearly perfect.
We disassembled the banjo and buffed all of the metal with a high powered buffing wheel to a shine. The finish looks great and has been waxed to a shine as well. The fretboard has been cleaned and oiled and the frets look great with spikes at frets 7 and 9. The original case is also clean.
Set Up
This has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse. The head is a new Remo frosted head and is set to 90. The bridge is a no name but professional quality bridge and this has new Huber Truetone .10's. This banjo is also set up to maximize performance along with being a pro quality design.
