This banjo came to CBW in this configuration. The neck is a late 60's RB-500 which had a sliding 5th string capo at some point and a typical profile/feel of the era. The pot consists of a full weight high profile tone ring (maker unknown) on a full thickness 3-ply rim. You can see the gold "Gibson USA" flange and Granada engraved tension hoop as well. The armrest and Presto tailpiece are nickel as seen in the pictures. The resonator is from a RB-800 from about the same time period. All in all a fine banjo for the 500/800 Bowtie enthusiast. If you have any questions or desire additional pictures, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking!
