To avoid confusion I should state that the pot is not for sale, though it’s pictured. I’ll remove the neck after it’s sold
Here is a mahogany neck I had built for an 1926 Style two Gibson that I have. I have 3 other banjos with the tunneled 5th option and I love the freedom it gives you sliding up and down the neck.
The neck was built by the Corwin Guitar Co. In Topeka Kansas. Danny is a true craftsman,he’s known for his beautiful guitars and this neck shows that quality.
The beautiful Pearl inlay came from Tim Davis and the fingerboard was radiused similarity to my Nechville Phantom. Very comfortable to play.
I’ll include the 5 Gotoh tuners with grained ivoroid buttons.
You can see where Danny left a relief notch in the heel to keep from cutting the neck notch further. It’s invisible when attatched. See pics.
I’m going to give this banjo to a grandson and he prefers a more traditional look with short 5th string.
I will also include the coordinator rod,it looks like he plugged and redrilled one hole.
This neck has been played very little, you can see there’s virtually no fret wear,if I remember right I had him use stainless frets.
