Vintage late 70's Iida Model 240 5 string banjo and original deluxe hard shell case. This one is in excellent condition and would be of interest to a player or collector. The gold plating is still vibrant, only slight dulling on arm rest, no shrinking or cracks in the bindings, wood marquetry on neck and resonator are in fine condition. It has gold Keith tuners with original box. Stock tuners included minus one missing tuner button. All original with exception of head and bridge. The only alteration was a Shubb sliding 5th string capo that was removed and holes filled and spikes at 7,8,9,10. It is in beautiful cosmetic condition with only the slightest signs of use. Playing condition is excellent. I had it gone over and set up by John Boulding last year. This one has a black hardshell case with the Iida logo. I have owned 5 or 6 Iida's over the years and have never seen this case before. It will be packed well for shipping. Thanks for looking.
