Okay, I'm biased but this is the best Deering I've ever played, it has a strong, bell like tone and it is loud. Ideal for bluegrass band, fiddle tunes whatever. The URL's below point to a couple of my videos using this banjo, so judge for yourself. I'm also throwing in some extras - capos, strings, and a Mike's mute. The armrest is cocobolo from Nechville but I will include the original chrome armrest so you can switch it back if you want. There are no scratches, dings, buckle rash, fret wear etc. as I barely ever left the house with it.
One Disclaimer: The flange is not quite flush with the resonator around the neck area because the resonator was cut a little too shallow around the heel. I will include a photo showing this. This never bothered me, but it would be an easy fix for any luthier. I am the original owner.
Comes with Deering "bump" HSC. If you go to my page there are tons more videos so you can see how it performs with different styles of music. And yes, it has the 06 tone ring.
