Here is a parts banjo that I put together, based on some prewar Gibson parts and new(er) parts:
- '20s Gibson rim, 3-ply, formerly with 24 holes for shoes; very good conditions
- '30s style-10 resonator, supposedly original wall lugs and thumbscrews
- Gibson-Crowe flathead tone ring, marked Gibson #5715, no-hole & unplated, custom-made by Bill Sullivan about 20 years ago (never used)
- Donnie Bryant sinker mahogany neck, w/ Br. RW style-3 leaves-and-bows fingerboard, finished black by Ken Hooper
- Prucha tension hoop (pot metal), hooks and nuts, Presto tailpiece, co-rods, and armrest
- Bob Fults resonator L-brackets
- Gotoh tuners
- AMB WK head, medium crown
- Scorpion 5/8" bridge
