Gorgeous new crafted unique and one of a kind. 11" open back banjo made from African Black Limba and Walnut with mother of pearl inlays on the fretboard. The banjo is all set up and ready to play. You can listen to this banjo being played in the clawhammer style by clicking on the link below. It's an old 19th century tune called "Darling Nellie Gray".
The reinforced neck has a standard 26 1/4" scale with beautiful mother of pearl inlays to the fretboard and head stock. The banjo notes true up and down the neck with no string buzzes. The neck to pot fit is tight and secure. String action is 3mm above the 12th fret.
The pot is block constructed and has a tone ring. The pictures and sound tell the tale. Please email with and questions that you may have. There is no case, but the banjo will be packed carefully and insured.
