I just bought this. Had been looking for a semi-fretless for a long time, so, even though I knew the scale was probably too big, I bought it anyway. Well, it is beautiful but the scale is just too big and different from my main banjo. I wish I could put it in the dryer and shrink it.
Enoch doesn't use a brass plate but uses the same material as the rest of the fingerboard to make a smooth, seamless fretless area that transitions into the fretted area smoothly. I love this part of this banjo. A super sweet banjo, just not right for me. Mint condition.
