Here is an excellent used 20 hole flathead tone ring (unmarked) for Mastertone Banjos which was previously mounted on a full 5/8" rim. Hasn't been polished so retains the nice patina of 30+ years. Original owner bought this tone ring directly from Stewart-MacDonald back 30-35 years ago. TR weighs 1394 grams (3.07 lbs)and rings like a bell....took all the measurements for someone and it appears to conform to the 822 flathead...just not struck with the "5 star" markings. Outer skirt measures 1 1/8"...Inside from bottom of tone ring to skirt measures 3/8"...
which I'm told may be "shorter than short skirt".
