Super nice Gibson style, maple Wreath 5-string banjo.....Unique wood purfling that really makes this banjo an eye-catcher beside the fact that it sounds super good.......This banjo was built around an old prewar TB-1 rim......Thie inside of this rim was slightly over cut when it was born so the holes in the rim are not visible from the inside......A thin ply was added to the inside to accommodate the vintage Huber flathead ring.....The holes are still visible when the flange is removed.....Comes with a new vintage style arched top hard case.....
