A comfortable-feeling shorter 25” scale player. No maker label, probably English, early 20th century. A good one to learn on--as I did decades ago when my wife purchased it for me from Elderly. Many upgrades as noted.

Metal clad maple pot with 24 brackets. 10 5/16” Skin head replaced 2013. Walnut (?) neck, dyed pearwood fingerboard, refretted 2013; pearl dot inlays; paddle-shaped headstock with dark wood overlay. Schaller geared tuners added, strung with Nylgut Classical Light strings, Bart Veerman ½” bridge, Elite tailpiece.

Several hooks and nuts replaced; originals included. Dowel stick replaced, neck reset. Original dowel included.

This banjo has a cool etched chrome-plated resonator attached to the open back with screws and spacers. It is easily removeable, but doesn’t change the tone or volume much. It's open backed at heart!

Original soft chipboard case in rough shape—lots of stickers (including BHO, Elderly) and duct tape around the edges.

Extra bridges, extra strings, extra unused Renaissance 10 10/16th inch head, 2 banjo keys included.
