For your consideration is a COMPLETE set of Pre-War Ludwig 4:1 tuners. These are exceptional for condition, as as that they have a much smaller positioning pin designed as a replacement for Grover tuners with a 2:1 gear ratio. The Ivoroid buttons are white, rather than the darker off-white or beige common to these tuners, which also have a larger and stronger shaft than their Grover counterparts. The tensioning screws have excellent heads with slots that are not stripped. The round mounting inset bezel or nut for each tuner is in exceptional condition, and to tighten them correctly- a Pre-War Ludwig wrench is included. These are complete with their nickel plated washers that go directly under the tightening bezel and are rarely found. Ludwig used paper washers placed between the top and bottom mounting surfaces, and an assortment comes with them, with the gray bottom washer a larger diameter. Spare springs and spring washers are included, as is an extra gearbox cover. These also include their correct brass nestling spacers for mounting. I only sell these to fund a conversion neck utilizing only Pre-War pieces, including donor neck wood and fretboard. Only the wider frets will not be period. Thank you!
