This is a tenor banjo project with a Strom neck on a Hoyt 11 inch pot. I purchased the neck a few years ago out of Ireland but understand that the neck was made in the US in the 1950s. The pot is a Zach Hoyt maple block pot I purchased directly from Zach at the same time.

I mounted a Fiberskyn head with all new hardware including geared tuners. There is one piece of the neck binding missing up near the pot. The neck is 19 frets and has a nice dowel stick with inlaid decoration. I have only played this instrument a couple of times as I needed to adjust the neck and didn't get around to it. The pot is rather thick construction and is not capped. As I recall the tone was not a sharp or harsh as some tenors and I attribute that to the strong construction of the pot. I recently sent a pot back to Zach and he put a cap on it but that is certainly not necessary.

I am moving some instruments that I don't play and hope someone will enjoy this guy when finished.

I do have to say that shipping costs have gone high and the last one I sent cost over $60 UPS ground and this would be about the same size so keep that in mind. I accept paypal and will eat the paypal fees.
