Here is a great sounding tenor banjo made by luthier Art Gariepy of Long Beach, CA. Gariepy banjos were sought after in the 1960's and early 70's because they offered great sound at a reasonable price. Along with the Ode company they pioneered the the aluminum pot. Gariepy ceased operations in 1974. Bob Flesher worked with Art for several years. A brief remembrance by Bob can be found at drhorsehair.com.
There is a repair at the 17th fret which doesn't affect playability in any way. The bridge is by Richelieu.
