Hi, and thanks for looking at my ad.
This is a very nice Deering Goodtime II Special Resonator 5 String Banjo with a Deering Special Steel Tone Ring, and Deering Gig Bag. The neck has Spikes at the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th frets to Capo.
I took the banjo all apart, and polished up all the metal parts, put a new Remo Head on it, and tuned the head with a Drum Dial to 88. I installed one of the 100 Year Old Barnwood Bridges that I make, and really make the Deering Banjos sound their best, in my opinion.
This would make a great banjo for a beginner, that wouldn't have to upgrade to a higher priced banjo for a long time, or one to take to jams, and leave your expensive banjo safe at home, and still sound good at the jams.
