Conversion done using Saga mahogony 5 string neck with curly grain pattern, ,fitted using original dowel stick and matching serial numbers. finished in laquer to match as close as possible, Beautiful vintage 10 3/4 pot with original hardware in good condition, new renissance head, new geared tuners, new no knot tail piece, new vega strings, new armrest, rosewood fretboard with dot inlays and diamond inlays in peghead, slingerland style peghead,adjustable truss rod, raised donut style original tone ring is suspended and rings like a bell. Built to compete with the Vega tubaphone it is a higher grade Slingerland and sounds clear and loud. 5/8 bridge ,set up for claw hammer style. comfortable neck , easy to play , you won,t be dissapointed . Sold without case.
