About the maker:
I have been a luthier since 2010, banjo player since 2008. Over the years, I have worked in guitar/violin shops performing setup and repair. In addition to my work as a luthier, I have played in various old-time/bluegrass bands such as Steam Machine and Hard Drive.
Having worked on/ owned many banjos that have proved troublesome in action and tuning, I set out to build a banjo that would have the features to allow for a dialed in setup. I'm a big fan of Kyle Creed banjos for their structural and tonal qualities. This banjo features brass coordinator rods as a nod to the functionality and visuals of Gibson's and Kyle's designs. I also find setting the neck relief an important element to a good set up. This banjo contains a two way truss rod to achieve proper adjustment.
