Here's a great example of the craftsmanship of Frank and Ricky Neat of Russell Springs, Kentucky. This banjo in many ways has the soul of a Granada with a curly maple neck, gold-plated hardware, and "extended" hearts and flowers inlays as seen on many plectrum Granadas of the 1930s. The fingerboard is beautifully figured Brazilian rosewood, the tailpiece is a clamshell type (also typical of a 1930s Granada), and the tone ring is a no-hole flathead by Bill Blaylock. The showstopper is a truly spectacular quilted maple resonator. This banjo is in like-new condition with the exception of some oxidation to the gold plating and some spots of missing plating on the tailpiece. The case is a faux-gator type with green lining. Complete photos and sound files are available at the "More Info" link below! Sorry, no trades.
