This banjo was built by N.C. banjo maker Tim Davis. This is basically a tribute to the banjo configuration that Earl Scruggs had during the time when "Live at Carnegie Hall" was recorded. The banjo features nickel hardware and a gold plated Davis tone ring. The mahogany neck and curly maple resonator have a satin finish that looks great. The cam tuners are made by Jim Burlile and work flawlessly. This banjo has fifth string spikes at the 7th and 9th frets. It comes with a new Superior hard case. Thanks for looking!
