THREE BANJOS IN ONE! FLATHEAD 5 STRING; BALL BEARING RAISED HEAD 5 STRING; TENOR BANJO
Robin Smith masterfully converted this ball bearing tenor into a 5-string, with a 20-hole Heartland flathead ring. The neck is nicely figured maple, with a Flying Eagle inlay pattern. Original hex resonator screws replaced with knurled thumbscrews. Waverly two band tuners on the peghead and the fifth is a highly desirable vintage Kroll. The neck and banjo overall are in excellent condition. Check out the pictures.
The shape of the neck and it's playability are hard to believe. Represents Robin's fabulous craftsmanship at it's best.
The banjo has an incredible range of tone and balance, with responsive and volume to spare.
