STEAL THIS GEM. DRASTIC DISCOUNT FOR LIBERTY DAY. For your consideration and delight is a bold and beautiful flamenco guitar from Spanish master luthier Valeriano Bernal. Sounds better than my $5,000 Flamenco by Conde Hermanos. Pristine all original condition. This one came out incredible. It’s mind blowing that you can buy a guitar that sounds and plays like this one for under $5,000. It’s one of those magical one in a thousand guitars.
I love Bernal Flamencos. They are the definition of Duende and embody raw, rustic power
In the right hands, they're a force of nature
This Spanish built, solid Cypress back and sides, solid European Spruce-Topped powerhouse is a joy to play
It's got a very confident voice and wants to be played hard. . .but with precision
It's been well-cared for and has opened up beautifully
If you're looking to start playing Flamenco guitar and don't want to compromise on authenticity or tone
Then look no further.
The Spanish master luthier Valeriano Bernal was born in 1939 in Cadiz, and began to learn the rudiments of woodworking at the age of eight, from from his cousin, Francisco Ramirez Leo. Ultimately , Valeriano Bernal started his own workshop near Brussels in 1962. During his time in Belgium Valeriano Bernal studied with two local acoustic engineers the designs of guitar tops. When he returned to Spain in 1976, Valeriano set up his own workshop, working with his family, his wife, Catalina Gil and their two children, Rafael Bernal Gil (b. 1973) and Paula Bernal Gil (b. 1976). Valeriano's flamenco guitars are famous for its endearing deep, dark tonality that flamenco guitarists love. Valeriano has built flamenco guitars for Paco Cepero, Manolo SanLúcar, Victor Monge (Serranito), Parrilla or Carbonero. Great flamenco players such as Sabicas and Paco de Lucia have also used his guitars in their recordings. Bernal's stature is such that Luis F. Leal Pinar devotes an entire chapter in "Guitarreros de Andalucia" (2004) to him. This is one of those rare affordable miracle guitars that you won’t be able to put down. Original Spanish HSC.
