Gibson RB-250 with an RB-100 resonator.
The neck is straight and in good condition with original Gibson tuners. Has a two-piece flange, multi-ply rim, and 20-hole tone ring. Because of its slightly thinner tone ring there is a slight step between the tone ring and the rim that in no way affects the sound. The rim is properly fitted and projects a huge vibrant tone. It also has the remnants of a Gibson label on the inside. I believe this is all Gibson parts but may be made from an older pot assembly. It sounds awesome and I can text a video if interested.
I recently had it set up by Tim Allen of Nechville Banjo Company. Included are some pictures of it taken apart for cleaning and set-up. Hardware has some pitting and wear as expected with an older banjo. The frets are all in good condition and this banjo has no playability problems. Comes with 70s original Gibson case. $2,000 plus insured, trackable shipping for $100.
