1927 Granada No Hole archtop tone PLUS Mitch Meaders Flathead conversion ring, two piece flange, uncut “fat” rim, FON 8661-14 numbers match, concentric purfling on resonator and along edge of neck, original tenor neck plus matching Arthur Hatfield 5 string conversation neck.
In very good condition, plays well, all original prewar parts (nothing replaced),
and then there is “the sound.”
A No Hole prewar archtop ring can be set up to sound so much like a full weight Flathead that most cannot hear the difference.
However, if you’d rather have an archtop sound, it’ll certainly provide that in spades.
This is a truly professional-grade, all original prewar Granada without the astronomical price tag. Originally sold by Jim Mills, his letter of authenticity included.
