A 2006 Osborne Chief. Mahogany neck and resonator, Flying Eagle inlays. (Very few with this combo). The banjo was sent to Nashville Plating, when new, was plated with antique gold. I bought this banjo new, sold it when I bought my first prewar Gibson. The new owner tried to clean the gold, and as you can see, he cleaned some of the gold off. The wood, is in excellent shape. Original tuners, except a Gotoh 5th string. Spikes at the A, B flat, B and C positions. Comes in a like new hardshell case. Banjo has slight fret wear, but no buzzing. It has one of the early Blaylock 20 hole tone rings. Banjo has a great sound. I am willing to drive 1-3 hours from the Upstate of SC to meet buyer. If shipping, buyer pays. If the gold was not worn, it would be $3500. I have a quote from Steve Huber to replace the listed parts for $455, if someone wants to go that way.
