The Aurora ring is $550 plus shipping. The rings are long skirt, ~0.400".
The tone rings were originally only available in the Hatfield Aurora model banjo. Arthur Hatfield will have rings in stock to sell separately or will fit them to a new or existing rim. Please contact Arthur for orders and other services such as cutting the rim for a flange of your choice, staining and finishing, or fitting using your parts. I will sell individual rings separately, no fitting.
The original Hatfield Aurora model banjo was designed to be somewhat unique. Two things I had in mind was Rudy Lyle's Wreath pattern flathead and Earl's Granada with the mahogany JW Gower neck. The Aurora can be ordered with a mahogany resonator if desired or other minor variations such as inlay patterns. Please discuss options and pricing with Arthur.
