Up for sale is a Charles Waldman 12" banjo that I purchased new from Elderly last year. The Elderly URL for this very same banjo is in the "More Info URL" section
Charles is a painter/banjo maker/musician in California who build woody style banjos that are quite unique:
* Charles' goal is to minimize use of any metal in banjo, so the tone ring is wooden with some carefully drilled holes. I would encourage anyone interested to google Charles Waldman if you are not already familiar with his banjos.
* This sucker is *loud* & *crisp* . Not an Enoch Tradesman or Ome Tupelo and not trying to be. To me it sounds like a Whyte Ladie (did I say it's loud?) without any metallic harshness.
* I added a John Balch goatskin head that John chose to match Cherry rim.
* Nut width is 1 5/16
* Did not come with case, I still have the original packing from Elderly.
Please message me with any questions & Thanks for looking!
