This is a postwar "floorsweep" based on a 1954 Gibson rim and flange. I put it together after being inspired by one of the Elderly prewar floorsweeps several years ago that had a TT neck on a standard pot. I purchased the style 100 tenor with the original rim, flange and resonator, but the tension hoop had already been swapped out for a chromed replacement. The hooks and nuts appear to be Gibson post-war parts (typical post-war nut shape). I believe the armrest is original. Resonator screws are mixed: two chrome and one nickel. The tailpiece has been replaced with a modern Prucha Presto. Arthur Hatfield built a style 12/18 maple neck and expertly matched the neck sunburst color to that of the resonator. Banjo currently has a Hatfield compensated bridge. Arthur also turned the rim for a Hatfield flathead tone ring. Banjo has a bright "maple" tone in its current configuration. Fretboard is flat rather than radiused and equipped with Gotoh tuners. Feel free to ask any questions. Banjo does not include the strap or capo shown in the photos. I will ship in a serviceable HS case, or will ship in a marginal HS case (bad latches or handle, but still provides equal protection for transport when taped shut) for $25 less.
