This is an exquisite Wildwood EWS 5-string openback banjo that I bought new several years and has rarely been out of the case. It was purchased directly from Mark Platin at Wildwood as he was closing his shop. It was sold as a shop second since there are a couple of hooks that are slightly off vertical and barely noticeable--totally a cosmetic flaw that in no way affects playability or sound. As new condition. Retail price of this model was $2,735 and if you are familiar with Wildwood banjos, you know that they have been some of the best American made banjos over the past 50 years and have been the best value at the highest quality.
