1994 Gibson Granada 5 string Banjo TIME CAPSULE
This is an unplayed 1994 Granada that is all original and stunning. This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description
This banjo was bought as a gift for someone in 1994 and the person who received this never played it. This has sat in its case for almost 30 years and shows absolutely no signs of use. This is a true Time Capsule Banjo and is the perfect Granada.
This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell with a curly maple neck and resonator that each have nice flame in the wood. The hardware is all original and is gold plated and engraved. This includes a Gibson USA stamped flange and a Gibson USA stamped original Kulesh Tone Ring. The tension hoop, armrest and tailpiece are all engraved with the Granada pattern including Granada engraved on the tailpiece. The fretboard is rosewood with Hearts and Flowers and there is w/b/w binding on each side of the neck and resonator. This is all original and looks fantastic. On top of all of this the case is original and also looks unused and Mint.
Granadas are getting really hard to find but especially the banjos made in the 1990's and before. However even the Granadas that do come up are at least played a little and this is as close as someone can get to buying a new Granada today!!
Condition
The condition on this is phenomenal. The hardware truly glows and none of the gold has worn off. The gold on the armrest looks new and it's obvious this was never used! The wood looks incredible and the finish is clean. The fretboard is also clean with frets that show absolutely no wear. This is a pristine example of a Granada and again the case is also mint.
Set Up
This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia. We put a new Huber head on this which is set to 90 on a drum dial. The bridge is also a new Huber bridge and the intonation is set correctly. The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action is set great. This banjo is also fully adjustable.
I am stunned at how perfect this banjo is and there is someone that has been waiting for the perfect Granada and this is it!!!
