I purchased this banjo brand new from Janet Davis in 2006. In 2007 I retired and moved to a different home in a different city. My very first day of moving vandals broke into my home and broke the neck on this banjo and totally destroyed a mandolin that my wife owned. The banjo has very very VERY little playing time on it . Almost none. There are no scratches , dings or fret wear but it has had the neck broken at the heel which I repaired myself with time and patience. It shows up pretty good in the pictures but in real life I have to look two or three times to see the repair.I feel like I did an excellent job.
