Here is something I have wanted for myself for a long time. I have one of the original Grover "Clothes Guards" from the late teens, but I don't like the metal snap-hooks used to attach it. The Grover version also rides up, exposing the ends of the hooks.
After years of trying different patterns (even making one from soft macrame), I have developed a product that I am very happy with.
This is a pad or leg rest that connects to your rim with hook and loop fasteners (will not scratch). It pads the bracket and hook ends to make playing much more comfortable. The heavy cotton webbing prevents the banjo from slipping on your leg. There is a pocket to cover the nuts, keeping the guard in place.
