Very nice vintage Vega pie-plate resonator built for their 10 15/16” pots. Includes all 28 bracket/hook flange pieces plus dowel-stick “center-hole” attachment bracket w/ screw. Side walls, w/ faux tortoise-shell binding, measures 1 3/16”. Inside diameter, where the outer edge of flange pieces rest, measures 13 1/8”. Resonator is a maple-honey color perfect for Whyte Laydie or Little Wonder models...there may be other models w/ similar shade/color but I don’t know.
So, get your full Reed Martin on w/ this fine old (mid ‘20’s) Vega resonator!
Thanks & let me know if you have any questions.
P.S. the Vega banjo, in some of the photos, is not included is this sale...only to visually demonstrate how the flange-pieces are attached & what your banjo could look like. Also, I couldn’t install the two flange-pieces on the hooks on each side of the neck-heel because the five-string conversion neck has a slightly wider heel than the original tenor neck. If necessary, and desired, one could file these two bracket flange-pieces enough to install these...if your banjo even needs that done. I’ve seen photos (online) where those two pieces where left off...again heel was wider I suspect.
