This nickel-plated flange was machined to fit on a ‘29 Style-3 fat-boy rim in 1975. It was on that banjo for 25 years & has “pulled up” (see photos). Fat-boy rim is .640“. The flange was turned to 10 25/32” for the inside diameter (to carefully slide up onto the rim) & the upper “lip” of flange was turned to 11 1/64” & snuggly contacted, up & around, the rims “flange-bead”. The rim is slightly “egged out” (from 12 o’clock to 6 o’clock). When I acquired an appropriate 1st generation OPF (2001?) I had to use a hair dryer to warm up & release this flange from the Fat-boy rim. Flange is solid.
Please let me know if you have any questions & thanks for taking a look. Brian
