This is a really handsome rim. It has what looks like Bacon hardware, but the maker is unknown. The rim is a full 11" OD, 2.5" high, and 5/8" thick. It is made of walnut, though the inner laminations look like they may be maple. It features rosewood binding and unique green purfling, with a walnut rim cap. It has all 24 original brackets and hooks, and a notched tension hoop. The tone ring is a nickel plated brass hoop, roughly 1" high and 1/8" thick. The plating and finish are overall in good shape aside from some minor wear. This would make a great pot for a conversion project. It currently sports a clear 5-Star head.
