I have a 1998 Gibson RB-75 JD Crowe model banjo for sale. I just recently had John Boulding install a new Sloan tone ring and set up the banjo. It sounds so much better now, it surely stands out. To be 22 years old, the banjo is in extraordinary condition. The only issue is a smudge on the arm rest. Gibson also only put one dot, at the 12th fret, like JD’s had. I also added 4 new Gotoh tuners. The 5th tuner is stock. It’s the nicest, best sounding 75 I have ever played or owned. The serial number is 75-9804-50. Comes with new Guardian arch top, hard shell case or an “ Asian Calton” fiberglass case.
