I have an open back banjo project I got and never did anything with. The rim is block construction, maple, fitted with a Stew Mac brass bar tone ring, Stew Mac L Brackes (24), tension hoop, 11” Remo Renaissance head (used), and a Vega style arm rest
The guy I got it from made it and had a left hand homemade neck on it. (Will be selling this also) He didn’t know how to fit a neck so he cut a flat spot on the rim so he didn’t have to fit the heel. I was going to scab on some wood and reprofile it correctly and fit a Golden Gate neck on it. I figured it wouldn’t hurt being it would be under the heel.
Just the tone ring and L brackets are $150 from Stew Mac.
