I believe this is a model KK-10, but could very well be a KK-11. If you're seriously looking, you likely know the answer to that already. These banjos are great for tenors or can be made into a 5 string conversion. It really is a beautiful sounding and rare piece. It comes with a very nice black padded hard case, aftermarket of course.
The banjo appears to features original hardware, except the original tail piece. I have sent a few pictures to retailers and that seems to be consensus. The flange has a cosmetic battle scar, but is structurally sound. The tone ring also has a few additional holes, likely from repair attempts over the last 91 years or so. Please look closely at the pictures and feel free to contact me and ask any questions. I'm reasonable and want this to go to a good home. This item is sold as is and is a literal piece of history! Open to hear offers as well. Happy pickin'!
