For sale - a late 20's (29 I do believe) Prewar style 3 Pot assembly mated to / with a recent Gibson mid 70's neck and resonator. The pot is very clean, and the metal is, as best I can tell, original prewar metal, with the exception of the armrest, (it appears to be the standard two legged armest or something very similar as Gibson used in that time frame) the tension hoop, and the Tailpiece. I am not sure of the exact time period of the tailpiece, but it is also very clean and in nice shape, and works great, and has no issues. The tone ring is the original 40 hole archtop ring, and there is a "mitch ring convertor" sitting on top of the ring which converts it to a flahead. The neck is in fine shape. Has a couple of spikes at A and C. Appears to be a standard grover type bridge, approx 5/8", Remo top frosted head, new strings. Includes good hardshell case. Per my usual policy I am willing to negotiate a bit and consider all reasonable offers, throw it out there and we will discuss!
