Hi, and thanks for looking at my ad.
I have here a very nice Alveraz 5 string resonator banjo, and case. I would guess it to be an early 70's era banjo that was Made in Japan, when a lot of people say they were "Masterclones", and better than some well know American made banjos at that period in time.
This banjo doesn't look like it has been played a lot, and is in remarkable condition for a 50 year old instrument.
I took this banjo all apart, and polished all the metal parts, and set it up with one of my 100 Year Old Barnwood Spillway Dam Bridge, and I think it came out very nice, and it has a very nice sound to my ear.
The binding on the case is coming loose in a few places, but still protects the banjo well.
This would be a great banjo for the person that is wanting to move up from a beginner banjo, or one to take to jams when you didn't want to take your expensive banjo out.
