Williams Kenny Ingram Model, serial #3. Only about 21 of these fine banjos were built. This banjo is the third one built and was originally owned by an internationally known player and teacher. I was fortunate to buy this banjo in 2008 when the original owner had the opportunity to buy a prewar, flathead Gibson Granada.
It features the highly sought after Burlile, 20-hole ring. This ring is unplated, which was customary in this model.
The rim is a Sullivan Old Growth rim. The resonator is by Steve Gill and the neck was built by Arthur Hatfield. All four tuners are Keith standards.
As you can see, every component of this Williams Kenny Ingram Model banjo is top shelf. No short cuts were taken.
The case is a beautiful brown TKL in nearly new condition.
The banjo is in the same excellent plus condition as it was when I obtained it in 2008 from the original owner. The tone, volume and clarity is off
the charts. This is a superior performance banjo and very rare.
