1928 Paramount Style E, 4 string Tenor 19 fret 22" scale length, White Holly Neck and Pot. Maple Resonator. I bought this from Dick Lewis, "Montana Red" a year or so before his passing. He told me he had Renee Karnes work on some restoration although I do not have receipts for that. Straight neck. Original Satin finish Gold Plating on all parts except Newer plated hooks. Arm rest was stripped and re-plated in Chrome. Finish is excellent. with no nicks or scratches on Resonator. One small finish scar on Head stock. The neck has been more recently stripped and completely refinished. All parts are original. Paige tuners are original and work very well. I could probably find a spare tuner in my banjo parts collection. 1/2" bridge. New head. Rosewood fingerboard. Very minor wear on frets, no finger dents, no fret buzzing. Low action with even clearance the full length. Inlays are all perfect. No marks or damage at all on Resonator. Style Es were one of the highest priced of the standard models and production was lower than the Style F. Most likely less than 500 produced. They also have a more distinctive sound then the other woods. This is one of the best I have ever seen. Red said that he got it because it was the best one he had ever seen, fixed it all up then decided to stick with his B and D. SN 11177 This is a great tenor banjo for stage use with plenty of volume. Original Hard shell case. More photos on Craigs List. No texts please. Questions gladly answered about this or other Banjos or banjo set-up, refurbishing adjustment or repair
