I'm selling my 2011 Deering Deluxe. Mahogany neck and resonator with a gloss finish, Deering 06 flathead tone ring and intricate pearl/gold colored inlays. This banjo has a great clear ringing tone and has had a recent pro setup at The 12th Fret in Toronto. Overall it is in very good condition. There is one little ding on the side of the heel (pictured) and a little bit of finish separation around the nut (also pictured), which seems not too uncommon with their gloss finishes.
The original Deering hardshell case is included. It works, but is missing one latch, and the handle will need to be replaced at some point.
This was my first high-quality resonator banjo, and it's been great, but I've wanted a Bishline for a while now, so I've decided to list this to fund that purchase. I would also be happy to trade (+/- cash depending on model and condition) for a Bishline Cimarron or Heirloom (other models considered).
