Came across these tuners and they appear to be the scarce early Kluson 2 tab tuners that are from the c. 1930’s and were used on some Gibson banjos like the TB-75, flatheads etc. of the period. They are working and seem to be in really good condition. By comparison, some examples show a thin metal backing that goes between the headstock and base of tuners which these do not have. A thin gasket seal trimmed to fit would work well or just a metal / resin washer would probably work to replace if desired. The shaft diameter measures 9/32” for sizing bushings to fit your headstock tuner openings. Before use, a dab of new gear grease should be applied as the old has been removed. $200 OBO
