This 49 Style 100 serial #2856-29 was originally a tenor and now has a 1963 Gibson RB-100 serial #128127 fitted to the pot. The neck has a great speed-neck finish and almost no fret wear. This banjo has turned out great. The pot has all original hardware with an added Prewar Vegaphone tailpiece. Robin Smith did the conversion adding a gold plated Sloan 20-hole flathead tone ring. Also “bowtie” inlays have been added to the fretboard creating the classic ‘49 look. 5th string spikes are installed and it ships in a black hard case. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
