Another vintage Ludwig branded component from my parts bin. This is the engraved lid from a prewar presto tailpiece used on an early Ludwig banjo. These are quite rare, as Ludwig switched relatively early on to their Waverly-esque tailpiece fairly early on. The rest of the tailpiece is long gone, but this will fit any original Grover Presto tailpiece, as well as many -- though not all -- reproductions.
