I got this sweet armrest from Nechville Banjos last summer, and it's been fantastic. I'm selling it because I decided I wanted a more highly-contrasting finish on the armrest. Clearly...I'm a person of great substance.
From the Nechville website, where they sell for $69: "Our armrests are incredibly comfortable. We build them to stay that way. That's why they're made out of raw, exotic hardwood. No stain or finish to rub off on your arm or become sticky. Beautiful natural colors and grain look great on any banjo, regardless of wood type."
It's beautiful, in perfect condition, super easy to install, very well made, and will make your forearm your new best friend. I'm not 100% sure what wood it is, but I think maybe Walnut. Some of you can probably just tell at a glance. I bought it new for $65, but am selling it for $45.
In any case, it's super smooth, and putting it on your banjo will make all other banjo players around you want to play Rock-Paper-Scissors for it. At least I think so...I haven't actually carried out an empirical study yet...
Give me a shout or a text if interested. Once I know if you're interested, I'll check on what shipping costs will be (which will partly depend on how quickly you want it, and by which carrier).
