The original Gibson foundry tone ring pattern. This is the pattern that Bill Sullivan acquired at the time of the closing of the Kalamazoo factory. Bill stated, in his catalog at the time, it was used to produce prewar flathead rings.
I bought it from Eric Sullivan and used it to produce my last batches of tone rings in 2013. The gates and risers were added by my local foundry. They are not permanent to the pattern and can be easily removed. The last two sepia toned pictures are FQMS pictures. Produces a 7lb casting.
